Adelaide Basketball tonight held their Gala Dinner and Awards Night at Titanium Security Arena.
In front of 500 people, Adelaide 36er Jerome Randle was announced as winner of the Mark Davis Perpetual Trophy for the Most Valuable Player.
After an outstanding season which saw him also take the NBL MVP and NBL People’s Choice MVP, Randle has won the hearts of basketball fans all across Australia with his style and showmanship.
MAC Adelaide Lightning Captain Laura Hodges was named Most Valuable Player.
Hodge’s consistancy across the season and her leadership played an integaral part of watching the young team grow in ability and experience.
Adelaide Basketball CEO Mr Guy Hedderwick said that Randle and Hodges were worthy MVP winners for 2016/17.
“These two exceptional people have been great leaders and role models for the Adelaide 36ers and MAC Adelaide Lightning and are deserving winners of the award.”
