Darren Ng was a crowd favorite in Adelaide and one of the best shooters in the NBL and is returning to the 36ers in a brand new role, as club doctor.
Darren made his debut with the 36ers in 2002, played two seasons with the Singapore Slingers before returning to the 36ers in to finish his career. Effectionately known as 'The Ninja", Darren managed to study around his basketball career and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery. He is currently in general practice.
"We are excited to have another past player involved with the club. To be able to entice Darren back to the club in this role is a big plus given his experience and knowledge of the game." said Dean Parker, General Manager.
Darren starts his role as club doctor next week and fans will get to see him as part of the team on game nights, just not in the familiar number 8.
