"I would like to thank the entire community of Adelaide for the unwavering support."

Adelaide 36ers Next Star Trentyn Flowers is the latest young gun to declare for the NBA Draft, announcing the news via his social media channels on Sunday.

"I would like to thank the entire community of Adelaide for the unwavering support," Flowers said.

"To coach (CJ) Bruton, (Scott) Ninnis and the Adelaide 36ers - thank you for further helping my game and me as a human being.

"I will never forget the time that I spent in Australia and will be forever indebted.

"Growing up as a kid, it has always been a dream of mine to play in the NBA ... with that being said, I will be declaring for the 2024 NBA Draft."

Flowers showed glimpses of brilliance throughout NBL24 with several highlights, including his 18-point final quarter heroics to defeat Illawarra Hawks.

The 204cm swingman’s declaration for the NBA Draft follows that of fellow NBL24 Next Stars Alex Sarr and Bobi Klintman.

The NBA Draft will be held on June 27.
