School Holiday Camps
The Adelaide 36ers are committed to increasing participation levels within the community for children playing basketball.
The 36ers have a constant presence at schools, clubs and associations across the state and are looking to continue to grow the sport with our 36ers School Holiday Clinics April 2017.
Through the 36ers School Holiday Clinics we endeavour to create a fun and friendly environment where kids can learn the skills of basketball from the best professional players in the state playing with the Adelaide 36ers.
Our Clinics are designed to teach basketball skills to children of all levels with the use of different drills and games that encourage participation and increase their physical activity.
The Clinics cater for both boys and girls aged between 8-16 years of age. The groups are broken down into 4 categories of under 10, Under 12, Under 14 and 14 and Over.
April 2017 School Holiday Camp
The Adelaide 36ers and Lightning held an April School Holiday Camp recently with over 50 kids participating in the three day camp. Lead by 36ers Captain Mitch Creek, the camp also included players Anthony Drmic, Sarah Elsworthy and Chelsea Brook. To give the participates the full experience we were also joined by Head of Strength and Conditioning for the Adelaide 36ers Adam Murphy and Development Coach Taylor Renshaw.
It was a great three days which saw the kids put through their paces with all different skills and drills presented to them. The main message however was based around the participants having fun while meeting new friends along the way. It was safe to say there was plenty of smiles!
