Chairman Grant Kelley is excited for the Adelaide 36ers season to finally start, “We want to thank our players, staff, officials, corporate partners and members for their outstanding support in what has been a long and challenging offseason.”

“This is an exciting new era for the Adelaide 36ers with our new Coach Conner Henry and the team we have worked hard to build. Given 2020, to play in front of crowds is exciting. We look forward to giving our members and fans world-class basketball and great entertainment over the coming months.”

“This is a fantastic schedule for 36ers fans and especially our 36ers family, with six home games to be played,” Grant concluded.

Coach Conner Henry said, “We are ready to go and looking forward to getting on court with the addition of Tony Crocker and Donald Sloan, our fans will see an exciting brand of basketball this season. The lads continue to train daily and are excited to get the season finally started and we encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the best game in town.”

Daniel Johnson said, “I’m really looking forward to the season beginning in January. We’ve all been training hard over the last few months, and I can’t wait to be back on the Brett Maher Court in front of our amazing fans.”

The remainder of the schedule will be announced in stages during the season. This will be based on border controls and health advice.

The regular season is expected to finish in May ahead of the finals with capacities at venues varying according to locations.

The Adelaide 36ers completed their team on Tuesday with the announcement of a second US import Tony Crocker, his arrival to Adelaide to be confirmed. Donald Sloan will land in Australia mid-December and commence training with the team before the end of 2020.
