The Adelaide 36ers Teacher Ambassador Program has been designed to celebrate, reward and recognise the impact of educators on the club’s community programs.

Open to teachers from both primary and secondary schools, the Teacher Ambassador Program is about highlighting the value educators have in the community and rewarding them for their contribution to growing the programs run by the club’s not-for-profit community arm Shooting Hoops.

The program is aimed at engaging teachers who are passionate about promoting Shooting Hoops’ key vision of inspiring positive social change through basketball and giving young people the skills to be able to thrive in life.

Teachers who register for free will commit to playing a key role in promoting the Adelaide 36ers and their educational programs within their school community and receive rewards in return.

Those rewards include:

– Ambassador Merch Pack (Hat and Notebook). 
– 5% discount to 36ers shop.
– Invitation to teacher PD events.
– Priority access to school programs (Beyond the Baseline, Active Adelaide 36ers, Kmart Gametime).
– Go into the draw for 1 of 10 double passes for the Ignite Cup game v Illawarra on Wednesday, 19 November.
– Go into the draw for a gold plus double pass for the club’s final home game v New Zealand Breakers on Saturday, 14 February.

Andy Thomas of Roma Mitchell Secondary College won the double pass for the game against the Breakers.
