Adelaide will be looking to go a perfect 3-0 at the NBL Blitz when the 36ers battle South East Melbourne Phoenix on Friday afternoon at Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre.
Coming off a tough 98-91 win against New Zealand Breakers on Wednesday, the 36ers will face a Phoenix side full of confidence after their 12-point win against Sydney Kings.
Power forward Alex Starling said the 36ers will focus on taking the next step in the pre-season process.
“Every game, every team in this league is going to be a tough test,” Starling said.
“We want to stick to our mantra of pushing the needle forward and get better, even if it’s one per cent per day.
“We will prepare the same way (on Thursday) as we did yesterday (Tuesday) to get ready for another big game.”
