Adelaide 36ers fans will get plenty of home action to start Hungry Jack’s NBL26 with four of the side’s first five games to be played at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC).
The 36ers will have a bye in Round 1 before kicking off their NBL26 campaign with a home game against Brisbane on Sunday the 28th of September.
They’ll also host Tasmania, Sydney and South East Melbourne between trips to Cairns to face the Taipans.
Star 36ers recruit Bryce Cotton won’t face his former side Perth until the second match of Round 8 in November with that game at home in Adelaide.
As has become tradition, AEC will be rocking on Christmas Eve when the 36ers host Cairns, while there will be an extra dose of festive cheer when Perth comes to town on Proclamation Day four days later. It’s part of a second run of three straight home games, with the Kings coming to town on January 2.

The NBL has previously announced that each team will play an extra four games this season including two extra home games as part of the NBL Ignite Cup – an in-season tournament with a final to be played in February in the lead-in to the finals.
This means the 36ers will play four Wednesday games including home clashes with Illawarra on November 19 and Cairns on December 24.
The NBL has also confirmed HoopsFest will remain in Perth but be shifted to January to coincide with school holidays. The 36ers will face South East Melbourne as part of HoopsFest on Sunday, 18 January.

Adelaide 36ers Chief Executive Officer Nic Barbato says with 16 home games for the first time, the schedule was exciting for the club’s members, supporters and commercial partners.
“We’re excited to be starting our season in Adelaide against the Bullets and to have four of our first five games at home,” said Barbato.
“We’ve got a great spread of games across the key timeslots on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and importantly we have retained some of the dates our supporters would be used to like the annual ADF Remembrance Round in November and our home games on Christmas Eve and Proclamation Day.
“Members, supporters and partners are at the heart of all we do, and we think that this fixture will give our supporters plenty of reason to continue our run of 21 consecutive home game sell-outs while giving our club partners great exposure nationally.
“Of course, winning games of basketball is our main aim and the basketball program, led by head coach Mike Wells, can now continue to plan for NBL26 knowing when and where our games will be played.”
It was announced this week that instead of opening the season with HoopsFest, teams will again travel to Perth for the event but this time they’ll do so in January to capitalise on the summer school holidays. The 36ers will take on the Phoenix at RAC Arena on Sunday, 18 January as part of the event.
Ticketing information will be released in coming weeks.
Members from last season are now able to renew or change their memberships and should receive their a notice in the post and via email with instructions on how to renew.
