36ers to play Christmas Eve

The festive season has come early for Adelaide 36ers fans with the club to host a game on Christmas Eve.
Adelaide will host South East Melbourne Phoenix on Saturday, December 24 at the family friendly tip-off time of 5pm.
36ers CEO Nic Barbato said the club was honoured to be given the privilege to host such a marquee match on the NBL23 calendar.
“This is a great reward for our members and fans,” Barbato said.
“The earlier start time is fantastic for families, and I can see this match becoming an annual event.”
NBL Commissioner Jeremy Loeliger said the league is thrilled to be bringing the Christmas spirit this season.
“Sports fans across Australia and New Zealand have been asking for live sport on Christmas and we are excited to bring them world-class basketball and entertainment on what is a very special day for so many," Loeliger said.
