This Father’s Day is one which will be special for Adelaide 36ers star Anthony Drmic.
The 30-year-old, who returned to the 36ers this off-season, will be celebrating his first Father’s Day with his son.
“I’m a little bit excited, I’m not too sure what to expect being my first,” he said.
“I’m looking forward to hanging out with the fam and having a special day.”
Drmic said the experience has been life changing.
“It changes your life,” he said.
“It’s been an adventure, he’s almost six months old now, so you learn a lot about yourself and your partner and I’m looking forward to every moment we have moving forward.”
One of those changes has been getting used to balance the job of dad with professional athlete.
“That’s all credit to my partner, she’s taken a huge load in terms of looking after our son and being there,” Drmic said.
“We’re away a lot, so she’s stepped in and all credit to her.”
