The Adelaide 36ers are proud to announce the signing of power forward Kyrin Galloway on a two-season deal.

The 22-year-old, 203cm rising talent joins the Sixers after two seasons with the NZ Breakers.

Born in Honolulu Hawaii, Galloway attended the University of North Carolina where he suited up for the Greensboro Spartans. As a senior he averaged 8.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and a Southern Conference-leading 1.7 blocks per game, shooting 39.8% from the field. He later represented Australia at the World University Games in 2019 before joining the Breakers as a Development Player for NBL21.

Galloway is currently playing for the Mackay Meteors in NBL1 North and is averaging 17.33 points, 9.66 rebounds and 3 blocks per game.

Head Coach CJ Bruton is pleased to have Galloway join his squad ahead of the 2022-23 season.

“Kyrin is a thrilling player to watch. He’s young, talented and brings an exciting combination of athleticism and shooting ability to the team”, said Bruton.

Kyrin Galloway joins contracted teammates Mitch McCarron, Daniel Johnson, Sunday Dech, Kai Sotto, Hyrum Harris, Nick Marshall and Anthony Drmic as the Club plans for the 2022-23 season with further announcements to come.
