South Australian young talent Owen Hulland has signed with the Adelaide 36ers.

The 21-year-old joins the roster as a Development Player for the 2020-21 season.

The 212cm forward was recently at the University of Hawaii before coming back to Adelaide to train with the Adelaide 36ers squad.

Head Coach Conner Henry said during the substantial off season, it gave the coaches a really good chance to see Owen develop and train with the team.

“Owen came in and practiced with us and made a mark on our coaching staff, as well as our players,” Henry said.

Owen also impressed in the Adelaide 36ers first practice match against Brisbane Bullets in November. He was the second-highest scorer behind Daniel Johnson for the team with 15 points with 3 rebounds.

The Adelaide 36ers are pleased to inject some local talent to the team. Owen joins another local talent Alex Mudronja who this season was elevated from Development Player.

Owen Hulland joins a completed roster of Daniel Johnson, Jack McVeigh, Sunday Dech, Keanu Pinder, Isaac Humphries, Josh Giddey, Donald Sloan, Tony Crocker, Brendan Teys, Daniel Dillon and Alex Mudronja.
