Adelaide 36ers coach CJ Bruton said there's been a 'lot to like' from his side's two wins in the NBL Blitz so far.
The 36ers will take on the Illawarra Hawks, who are also unbeaten, with both teams a chance to take home the Loggins-Bruton Trophy.
Going into tonight's game, Bruton is excited to see what's to come from his group this season.
"There's a lot to like, you can tell how everyone will sort of mesh and come together in a small sample size," he said.
"I think we've made some progress.
"But there's some things that, like every team will say, we need to clean up and be better at this moving forward.
"There's definitely a lot to like, I'm excited about our group, where we're at right now and then the amount of bodies and talent that we've got pushing forward."
Bruton added, while winning the NBL Blitz competition would be a good result, the main focus is on the upcoming season.
"I think every game that we play, I want us to put our best foot forward," he said.
"We don't go into any game trying to lose, but we've got to show improvements and signs that will track us in stead for the season.
"As for winning the tournament, we won it last year, and I think one of the previous year with the Brisbane Bullets and while it's exciting to win any sort of tournament, the ultimate prize is to win the championship at the end of the season.
"Gaining momentum is great, coming out of here unscathed and not having injuries going into the season is what I'm really hoping that."
Tip-off is at 7.30pm with the game available on Kayo Freebies.
