Bullets game a 'must win': Cleveland

Adelaide 36ers shooting guard Antonius Cleveland knows tonight's game against Brisbane Bullets is a 'must win'.

The 36ers are on a form slide, having lost the last two road games to Tasmania JackJumpers and Perth Wildcats.

With the team sitting eighth on the NBL23 standings, Cleveland is aware of the challenge and is ready to embrace it.

"It's a big game, a must win on the road," he said.

"I feel we all know how big it is, and I'm excited about it.

"We've got no choice, we've got must-win games now and we know what's at stake.

"I think the feeling they've got after beating Phoenix, they're going to try and get that feeling again...just knowing you could ruin another team's season.

"It's something to play for as competitors, I respect it, we've just got to come out ready to play."

Cleveland said there's a number of key points to winning, but the need is to focus on their own game.

"(Jason) Cadee had a big game, the key is winning the rebound war, keeping people out of the paint and defending without fouling," Cleveland said.
