Cadee says home crowd is huge boost

Adelaide 36ers point guard Jason Cadee said his side can’t wait to be back on home court this Sunday afternoon against Tasmania JackJumpers.

Cadee, who will run out for his 400^th NBL game against Tasmania, described the feeling within the Adelaide Entertainment Centre has gone to a new level in NBL25.

“It’s got this feeling that everything is about to explode,” Cadee said on SEN SA Breakfast this week.

“It had a little bit about it last season, but not like this.

“You can just sense and there is a feeling amongst us that something really special can happen here this year,

“To see the sold out home crowd week in, week out, it really is a great thrill.”

The 186cm point guard said the 400-game milestone is special, but the sole focus is getting back into the winners’ circle.

“It really puts everything in perspective, but I’m just really excited to put a jersey on again and help the side move forward,” he said.

Adelaide will be out to rebound against the JackJumpers after last Sunday afternoon’s loss to Melbourne United at John Cain Arena.

“We had four games in 10 days and off the back of a busy pre-season schedule of a six-week block,” Cadee said.

“To win three of our past four (matches) and to do what we did to Sydney last Friday at home is pleasing.”
