Recruit Antonius Cleveland is new to the Adelaide 36ers this season, and now he’s starting to gel with his new teammates.
Speaking at the 36ers’ media day, Cleveland said two of his teammates took his eye as they went 3-0 to claim the Loggins-Bruton Cup as NBL Blitz champions.
“Mitch McCarron, playing with him is fun, I got to see the no-look passes up close,” he said.
“It’s dope seeing how he thinks and reads the game.
“Being able to see that live on his team, I was kind of impressed as well.
“I think Nick Marshall may be the best DP in NBL history in my opinion.
“I was really pleased by those two.”
The 36ers are back on the road this week as they travel to the United States to take on the Phoenix Suns and Josh Giddey and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
