Kendric Davis won his first Mark Davis Trophy at the Adelaide 36ers MVP night at William Magarey Room on Friday night.
The 180cm point guard was runner-up for the NBL MVP award and showed as just a second-year professional his ability to take over games during his first season overseas.
Davis, who also claimed the HomeStart Finance Members MVP award, was a revelation this season and averaged 25.6 points, 7.8 assists and 4.1 rebounds per night across his 29 games.

Power forward Lat Mayen was rewarded for his outstanding season by winning the Office National Most Improved Player award.
Mayen became a key piece of the starting line-up during the club’s run to playoff qualification and raised his level of play at both ends of the court.
Swingman Sunday Dech went back-to-back and claimed the Leventis Lawyers Best Defensive Award for a second straight season.
Dech has won this honour in three of the past four seasons and is known league-wide for his ability to limit the impact of the league’s biggest offensive players.
Point guard Jason Cadee, who announced his retirement earlier this month after 424 NBL games, won the Breathe WRL & Raw Group Coaches Award after his stellar season both on and off the court.
Head coach Mike Wells won the Chairman’s Award after leading the club back to the post-season for the first time since 2017-18.
