Adelaide 36ers swingman Sunday Dech said his side can’t wait for the NBL25 regular season to tip-off this Sunday against Sydney Kings at HoopsFest in Perth.
Dech said his side go in the season opener feeling good after a pre-season campaign which netted three wins from four matches.
“Our main focus is on Sydney this weekend and we are feeling confident, we have had a really good lead in,” Dech told Bicks & Walshy on SEN SA Breakfast this week.
The 195cm Paris Olympian is thrilled to be part of the inaugural HoopsFest in Perth, which sees the NBL, WNBL and Under 18 National Championships come together for a basketball extravaganza in Western Australia.
“For us, any chance to play is always welcome, but to kick this season off in Perth, my home city, definitely adds a bit of flavour to it,” Dech said.

Dech said he expects Nominated Replacement Player Montrezl Harrell to make an impact against the Kings on Sunday after showing impressive performances and training this week.
“He has come in and been amazing straight from the get-go,” Dech said.
“On the court, he has been unbelievable, his passing ability is something that surprised me.
“That’s going to be another asset to the team that he is going to bring.
“We have had a really good lead in to get our season started this Sunday
