Ipassou sends Eagles into decider

An inspired performance from NBL25 Development Player Fiston Ipassou lifted Forestville Eagles into the NBL1 Central grand final this Saturday night at Adelaide 36ers Arena.
Ipassou sparked the Eagles off the bench, scoring 22 points as Forestville defeated Sturt Sabres 91-84 at Wayville Sports Centre on Saturday night.
The Eagles went into the main interval with a 20-point lead, but the Sabres fought back strong in the third quarter, outscoring Forestville 26-9 to reduce the margin to just three points with 10 minutes remaining.

Sturt took the lead in the final quarter when NBL25 signing Ben Griscti scored under the hoop for a 67-65 Sabres advantage.
Then Ipassou took over, scoring nine points in the final seven minutes as Forestville booked their spot in the grand final against South Adelaide Panthers.
Griscti had 12 points and seven rebounds for the Sabres, while Jacob Rigoni added three points, five rebounds and two assists.
