Nick Marshall has said his elevation to the Adelaide 36ers' main roster is a 'dream come true' after starting the campaign as a development player.
Marshall took the vacated roster spot on Monday and said to media on Wednesday that it means a lot.
“It feels amazing, it’s a dream come true,” he said.
“I get to the come out in Adelaide, my home town and get some court time now and show what I can do.
“I can step in with the extra minutes on offer, I move ahead in the guard position.
“I appreciate the minutes that I can get and do what I do."
Yet, he expects senior heads Anthony Drmic and Sunday Dech to be ahead of him for starting five contention, which is something that suits him fine.
“I wouldn’t expect I’d be starting, I’d expect Drim or Sunday to be starting ahead of me,” he said.
“I’m happy to be in the role that I am."
