The Adelaide 36ers are pleased to announce that versatile forward Matt Kenyon has re-signed with the club for the NBL27 season.
Kenyon joined the Sixers for NBL26 and played an important role across the campaign, providing energy and defensive pressure as the side made a run to the decisive game of the Championship Series.
During the NBL26 season, Kenyon played 40 games, impacting games with his toughness and team-first approach while averaging just over 10 minutes of court time.

Adelaide 36ers General Manager of Basketball Operations Matt Weston said Kenyon’s re-signing was an important piece of the club’s roster continuity heading into NBL27.
“We’re really pleased Matt has decided to stay with the 36ers,” Weston said.
“He embraced what we’re building last season and played his role in a team that went deep into the playoffs.
“Matt’s the type of player every successful program needs. He competes, he defends and he understands his role, which is incredibly valuable across a long season.
“Keeping players like Matt, who understand our standards and culture, is crucial as we look to take the next step in NBL27.”
Kenyon has played a total of 165 NBL games including two seasons at each of the Brisbane Bullets, Tasmania JackJumpers and South East Melbourne before crossing to Adelaide.
He is currently playing for the Mandurah Magic in the NBL1 West competition.
Kenyon is the tenth player signed by the Sixers for NBL27 alongside Flynn Cameron, Zylan Cheatham, Bryce Cotton, Ben Griscti, Isaac Humphries, Bul Kuol, Nick Rakocevic, Keanu Rasmussen and Isaac White.
