Kyrin Galloway hadn't seen many minutes in NBL23 before his starring cameo against New Zealand on Sunday, but he took the opportunity with both hands.
Galloway finished with 13 points, including a barrage of threes as the Adelaide 36ers went down 83-89 in New Zealand.
"It felt good, it always feels good to go out there and stretch your legs," Galloway said.

"I was ready to go and my teammates believed in me.
"It was good to go out there and play well, and hopefully earn some more minutes."
Galloway attributed his sharp shooting to training during the FIBA World Cup qualifier window.

"I had a good week during the FIBA window, shooting well," he said.
"I was happy to be able to translate that to the game."
The 36ers tackle Perth on Thursday before returning to Adelaide to take on Cairns.
