Adelaide 36ers star Craig Randall II said he and his teammates are embracing having a target on their back following their history-making victory over Phoenix.
The 36ers arrived back in Adelaide yesterday from the NBL x NBA trip and Randall II said it was important to the club.
“It was big for the club, I’m glad we could get that win,” he said.
“It’s important for us to keep making strides and getting better together.”
Randall II, who scored 35 points against the Suns and 27 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, said the side now has a target on their back after the tour.
“The respect we have now from a lot of people, we know everybody’s coming for us here,” he said.
“I’m sure every team will give us their best game, most teams are probably hunting us, but we’re hunting other teams too.
“We’re embracing having a target on our back, but we’re coming for everybody just like they’re coming for us.
“I hope Thursday’s massive, we’re here, everybody’s here, so I hope it sells out.”
