Round 1 Revised Fixture

The NBL has announced further changes to the opening round schedule for the 2020-21 Hungry Jack’s NBL Season, with games to be played exclusively in South Australia and Queensland.

The Adelaide 36ers 2020-21 Hungry Jack’s NBL Season will now tip-off on Friday 15 January, against Melbourne United at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

Adelaide 36ers Chairman Grant Kelley said, “The latest changes to the schedule have been made necessary due to the recent COVID-19 developments in Queensland and further changes to various state boarder restrictions throughout the country.  

“While we apologise to our fans and supporters for any inconvenience the most recent changes may have created, we are also honoured that our Club and fans can play a leadership role in allowing our season, and the NBL competition to commence.”

“We are thrilled our fans will get multiple opportunities to see our exciting squad in action very soon.”

Adelaide 36ers first round will see the team play two games in front of home crowds.

ROUND 1

Friday 15 January
Adelaide 36ers v Melbourne United, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, 7.00pm

Sunday 17 January
Adelaide 36ers v South East Melbourne Phoenix, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, 2:30pm

General public tickets to Friday’s game will go on sale soon. Anyone who has purchased a ticket to the Saturday, 16 January game will have their ticket honoured on Sunday, 17 January.

The Adelaide 36ers Round 2 games remain as scheduled and on sale now, subject as always to the potential need for rescheduling at the NBL's discretion.”

 Adelaide Entertainment Centre, 7.00pm

Friday 22 January
Adelaide 36ers v South East Melbourne Phoenix, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, 7:00pm

“The Adelaide 36ers along with the NBL will continue to stay flexible and work closely and be guided by the advice of the relevant health authorities to ensure the safety of all players, staff, officials, and the fans, who are all our number one priority,” Kelley concluded.
