The Adelaide 36ers roster for the Hungry Jack’s NBL26 season has been bolstered with the signing of talented wing Troy Brown Jnr.
An athletic perimeter shooter and strong rebounder, Brown comes to the club for the remainder of the season with 356 NBA games to his name.
Originally taken in the first round of the 2018 NBA Draft (Pick 15) by the Washington Wizards, Brown has also played for the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Detroit Pistons.

Most recently the 26-year-old has played in Turkey and Puerto Rico.
At 201cm, the American has a strong defensive edge while also being able to hit the scoreboard.
“Troy has great size and length,” said 36ers General Manager of Basketball Operations, Matt Weston.
“He’s a legitimate shooter who is very good on the defensive side of the ball with great hands.
“He’s had six seasons in the NBA where he shot nearly 40 per-cent from the three-point line, plus he’s great on the boards and will give us another rebounding option.”
The Sixers have had the option to sign another import after Bryce Cotton received his Australian citizenship in September.
Weston said the club took its time to assess its needs before landing on signing Brown.
“We wanted to assess our group and other teams in the league to determine what type of player could make us better.” Weston explained.
‘We had to consider what we need to make sure we can beat the best teams not just now but twice in a week come March.
“We’re confident it won’t take long for Troy to adjust to our game style and make a positive impact for our group.”
Brown is expected to suit up for Sunday’s home clash with Cairns.
His signing means Blake Jones will come off the club’s main roster but remain a Nominated Replacement Player.
