Adelaide 36ers supporters will get their first chance to watch the side under new head coach Trevor Gleeson in pre-season games against Illawarra and Cairns during the CODE Sports NBL Blitz, to be held in Bendigo in September.
The NBL announced on Tuesday the event would head to the regional Victorian town for five days of non-stop action at Red Energy Arena from Wednesday 2nd September until Sunday 6th September, as teams make their final preparations for the upcoming season.
The Sixers will first face the Hawks on Thursday 3rd September before backing up against the Taipans on Saturday 5th September.
Both games will be the second in a double header.
Last season the Sixers beat the Hawks before going down to Tasmania at the Blitz in Canberra.

NBL Group CEO David Stevenson said taking the Blitz to Bendigo is all about the League’s commitment to fans right across Australia.
“We’re grateful to the Victorian Government and Visit Victoria for their continued support of the NBL and their commitment to bringing major sporting events to regional communities,” Stevenson said.
“The NBL has fans in every corner of Australia and New Zealand, and taking our game to places like Bendigo allows us to connect with those communities in a way that’s really important to us.
“The Blitz is a fantastic way to bring our 10 teams together, showcase the very best of the NBL, and give fans from regional Victoria the opportunity to see more elite basketball.”
The CODE Sports Blitz has become a key fixture on the NBL calendar, giving fans the chance to see every team in action while clubs make their final preparations for the season ahead.
