Adelaide 36ers power forward Alex Starling says he will do whatever it takes to get his side back on the winners’ list.
Starling, who has had a huge impact off the bench in the past two games, said he is building in faith now 10 games into his NBL career.
“With the court time, obviously confidence comes with that, the coaching staff trusting me to go out and do those one percenters and bring the energy and those rebounds that we have been lacking at,” Starling said after Adelaide’s 82-72 loss to Tasmania JackJumpers on Saturday night.

“It’s about me filling in that gap, which is what I told CJ when I signed at the Sixers, to give everything I have, which is the norm for me.”
The 199cm power forward scored seven points and hauled in six rebounds as he along with Trentyn Flowers and Nick Marshall, gave the home side some spark off the bench.
“Whatever I need to be, to contribute, to help the team win, I’m willing to be that,” Starling said.
Starling, who gained his Australian citizenship in May, said to play on Remembrance Day was extra special.
“Being Australian now, it means a lot to me, it’s very special to take that moment and show you appreciation on the sacrifice, that sacrificed their lives for their country,” Starling said.
“It’s a special day for me being Australian, would have been a little bit sweeter if we had got a win.”
Adelaide 36ers will be back on Brett Maher Court this Friday night for the club’s Indigenous Round clash against South East Melbourne Phoenix from 7pm.
