The Adelaide 36ers are saddened by the passing of Bill Spurr AO.
A widely respected figure in South Australia and a tourism trailblazer, Spurr was recently chair of Adelaide Venue Management Corporation, who run the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
He was a visionary in entertainment, tourism, and economic development.
Spurr was previously chief executive of the South Australian Tourism Commission and served on the Premier’s Economic Advisory Council under the Marshall Government.
The club sends its deepest condolences to the Spurr family.
