Adelaide 36ers coach CJ Bruton said his team made great strides from the loss to New Zealand to the overtime defeat to South East Melbourne ahead of the trip to Illawarra to tackle the Hawks.
Bruton said the team hasn't had a 'perfect moment' since they've been together, including the NBLxNBA win over the Phoenix Suns.
"We haven't had a perfect moment, from Phoenix in the pre-season to now," he said.
"We've had some good moments that have shined.
"It takes time, bit by bit and doing your part and playing your role will go a long way.
"I thought our bounce back after our home loss was great strides from where we were to where we finished the weekend off.
"We've got two games this week against two teams who've both lost over the last weekend."
The 36ers take on the Hawks on Thursday night before tackling Perth at home.
