Adelaide 36ers head coach Mike Wells is ready to experience the home crowd for the first time at the Entertainment Centre on Thursday night.
Wells will coach his first game for the 36ers in front of the loyal, passionate fan base and said his side will relish the opportunity to be playing at home.
“It’s a challenge, we have a really good team coming in and we have got to take care of our home court,” Wells said.
“I’ve heard all about the great support we have in Adelaide, the fans come out, they’re going to be loud.
“We are going to feed off that energy and I think this will be another step of this development of this team.”

The 36ers will be looking to rebound after two defeats to start the NBL25 season and Wells said the home fans will see some changes against South East Melbourne Phoenix.
“We have got to establish more about ourselves and play for the full 40 minutes,” Wells said.
“We have played some really, really good stretches of basketball, and unfortunately we have played some really tough stretches and us to consistently hang our hat on the defensive end.
“We got to defend better and get guys to take tougher looks, so we can run back at them, then our offensive really clicks at a different level.”
