Adelaide 36ers guard Sunday Dech said the club are trending upwards after winning their past three matches.

Ahead of Thursday night’s home battle against Brisbane Bullets, Dech said the side has had a change of focus sine head coach CJ Bruton’s ‘mini training camp’ over a fortnight ago.

“We are definitely happy about it, heading in the right direction,” Dech said on Tuesday.

“I think after losing three in-a-row we kind of had a reality check and change our processes a bit.

“We treated it as a pre-season and we have won three on the trot, which we are happy about.”

The Bullets will come to Adelaide after their home match against Perth Wildcats on Tuesday night, Dech said the 36ers are treating Brisbane just like any other team in the competition.

“For us, it’s the same. We want to scout them the best we can,” Dech said.

New recruit Ian Clark looms to make his on court debut on Thursday night after sitting on the bench throughout the Christmas Eve win against South East Melbourne Phoenix.

Dech said 36ers fans should be pumped to see what Clark brings to the roster.

“He has had a couple of really good days on the training track and getting his rest and getting that side of it ready to go,” Dech said.

“For us, to get him integrated into the game group as much as possible is going to be key.

“He is going to be fantastic.”

With Clark coming into the roster, Dech said there will be no disruptions to the rotations with everyone buying into their role.

“No, not at all. We have had a couple of practices with him and he has been unreal,” Dech said.

“He’s a great teammate, we spent Christmas with him and he is great to be around.”
