Bruton looking for improvement, chemistry on road

Adelaide 36ers coach CJ Bruton said a trifecta of away trips is a good opportunity for team building and more while speaking at Adelaide Airport on Wednesday.
The 36ers travelled to Melbourne ahead of their clash with United tonight, before travelling to New Zealand to tackle the Breakers and then Perth to face the Wildcats next week.
“Team building, continuing to develop chemistry and continuity and an understanding of who we are as individual players and becoming a better team,” Bruton said.
While Bruton said missing personnel during the FIBA World Cup qualifier window wasn't great, it was a good week to work with the group who remained home.
“It’s great to have some time to build with the group we had here and improve on some of the things we need to get back,” he said.
“We need to play defence first, we can do a better job collectively, we need to be better in certain areas so we can lift our standard.
“Offensively you need to continue to move the ball."
The 36ers' clash with Melbourne United gets underway at 7pm (ACDT).
