Adelaide 36ers guard Sunday Dech said his side is preparing to bounce back on Saturday night at home against Cairns Taipans to celebrate NBL’s DC Multiverse round.
Dech said the side had a meeting on Monday morning and has plans in place to get back on the winners’ list.
“The season comes too quickly, you can’t draw on what’s gone, you have to focus on what’s ahead, and for us it’s Cairns,” Dech told media on Monday.
“All our intentions is on them, there is a lot of things we have to improve on between now and then.”

Coming off a tough road trip to New Zealand and Tasmania last round, Dech said the 36ers need to control what’s ahead and the side needs to know nothing in the past can be changed.
“It’s gone, it’s happened, I’ve had that happen in the past and I don’t want that to happen again in the future,” Dech said.
“We are focusing on the future and what lays ahead.
“For us, it’s about keeping that joy within the group, at the end of the day we do play basketball and at any given moment, the tables can turn.
“Come to practice, put your best foot forward and come game time, do everything you can to be ready to play at a high level.”
Dech has confidence Adelaide will rebound strongly against the Taipans, who will come to Adelaide fresh off beating ladder leaders Melbourne United at John Cain Arena.
“At this moment it’s very easy to fracture, but I think we don’t have that group, the guys are going to keep battling all the way through,” Dech said.
“I don’t know what the end of the season is going to look for us, but I know what tomorrow is going to hold for us.
“All you can focus on right now is putting your best foot forward.”
Adelaide will face Cairns this Saturday night on Brett Maher Court at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, tip-off is from 7.30pm.
