Kyrin Galloway said it will be family affair again this season in NBL1 North.
The Galloway brothers have moved from Mackay Meteors to Ipswich Force for the 2023 season and Kyrin said he can’t wait for the season to start.
“It was a package deal for them, they got both of us, we wanted to play in the same team,” Kyrin said.
Jaylin Galloway, fresh from his NBL23 championship win with the Sydney Kings and his new three-year deal to stay in Sydney, agreed with Kyrin’s recruiting strategy.
"The main reason I signed was to play with my brother again," Jaylin said.
The Galloway’s have turned their attention to the 2023 NBL1 North campaign, which starts this Sunday, and will be joined on a loaded Force roster which also includes Nathan Sobey and Harry Froling.
"We now have a very imposing team, that has lots of potential and is capable of going all the way [in the NBL1 competition],” Galloway said.
"But having played in the NBL1 North before, I know the importance of playing hard and competing, which will help build team chemistry every day."
