Adelaide 36ers' Most Improved Player Nick Marshall said he's eager to get more opportunities to be in the team's starting five after having a taste during NBL23.
Marshall started against the Cairns Taipans and Sydney Kings in early December before accumulating plenty of minutes throughout the same month, including a 15-point game against South East Melbourne Phoenix.
But now, Marshall is keen to grasp more chances to show what he can do.
"It's pretty cool to get an award, especially in front of everyone," he said.

"I feel like my season was pretty good, obviously we didn't get the result we wanted in making finals, but I feel like I contributed in the ways I could and made the most of my opportunities.
"It was amazing, to be starting on the court against Cairns and Sydney.
"Hopefully I'll be able to continue to working towards that, that's where I want to be."
Marshall averaged 4.53 points per game at 48 per cent in NBL23.
