With news there's less than 2000 tickets remaining for our NBL23 opener against Tasmania JackJumpers on Thursday night, Adelaide 36ers captain Mitch McCarron is eager for a sell out.
The 36ers are playing some catch-up after their successful tour of the United States for the NBL x NBA tour, where they beat the Phoenix Suns.
Speaking on Tuesday, McCarron said he's keen to see the familiar faces of the 36ers faithful.
"Hopefully we get a sell out," he said.
"It's going to be a great opener and we're excited to play.
"To have two home openers in the first weekend is special.
"It's been forever since we've played a game in Adelaide, so it's super exciting."
McCarron is expecting a bit of fight from last year's grand finalists, who notched up their first win in overtime over the Brisbane Bullets last weekend.
"They're going to be desperate, they just got their first win," he said.
"They know losing a bunch of games at the start hurts later in the season.
"For us, it's our home opener, we really want to turn it on for the fans."
