Adelaide 36ers will take on a new look next month with the club releasing their city jersey for the NBL23 season.
Antonius Cleveland, Robert Franks and Nick Marshall got their first look at the jerseys this week and Cleveland said there’s a great vibe to the design.
“The first thing that stood out was the colours, kind of like an LA Clippers vibe, didn't expect to see that from the 36ers,” Cleveland said.
“I took it home because I didn't want to change, I stared at it and then gave it back the next day.
“Hopefully we can wear them a bit more if we play well in them.
“I don't see too many teams having a better city jersey than us.”
Designer Nahum Ziersch said the inspiration for the City jersey was close to home and was two years in the making.
“The jersey was inspired by the beautiful and long coastlines we have so close to the heart of the city,” Ziersch said.
“The long summer days spent at the beach, with big open blue skies.
“Those amazing blues we see in some of our best beaches. It was about capturing that coastal beauty the state has to offer.”
Adelaide will wear the City jersey in the club’s next home game against Cairns Taipans at the Entertainment Centre on Friday, December 2.
