Adelaide 36ers boom off-season recruit Craig Randall II said he will do whatever it takes to get the club back to the playoffs.
Randall II, who arrived in Adelaide on Tuesday, is coming off a NBA Summer League championship with Portland Trailblazers and “knows how to win”.
“I just want to win games and get back to the playoffs,” Randall II said.
“Be that team that no one expects us to be.”

The 26-year-old said he knows what he has to do for his new club to succeed.
“Score when I have to, be a playmaker when I have to, guard the best player when I have to,” Randall II said.
“Just be creative, so I’m going to come in and do that. A lot of excitement, a lot of scoring and defensive end too.
“I want to bring that excitement back to Adelaide.”
“Winning the Summer League championship was fun. It’s just a bunch of guys that came together and figured it out how to win.
“So, this year we have more time this coming off-season to get to know each other before the season starts.
“Just being to know how to win and being able to bring that to this team.”
The 193cm combo guard said the first time he talked to head coach CJ Bruton, he wanted to be a 36er.
“I talked to some teams at Summer League and then my agent got in touch with coach (Bruton),” Randall II said.
“I loved coach from the first time I spoke to him, we got off on the right foot.”
Bruton has already told Randall II what he needs to do to make the club succeed in NBL23.
“He wants me to come in a be myself and help the other guys,” Randall II said.

The trip to Australia was the first time Randall II has been outside of the US, and is keen to embrace the new lifestyle in Adelaide.
“It was long (the travel) but fun and exciting, I’m just happy to be here and get to work,” he said.
“I’m looking forward to seeing Australia, everything looks nice.”
Randall II will join his new teammates on court this week.
