Wins are the focus as Antonius Cleveland and the Adelaide 36ers travel to the United States to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Phoenix Suns in NBL x NBA.
Speaking at the 36ers' Fan Day, Cleveland said he believes he and his teammates can come away with at least one win against the NBA stars.
“This opportunity doesn’t come often, we’re going there to win,” he said.
“We’re going to treat the Suns and Thunder like they’re our Australian teams and play our best and try to win.
“I feel like it’s definitely a chance, OKC has a few injured players.
“Not trying to underestimate any guys on their roster, I feel like it’s a very good opportunity for us to win a game."
“We want to make the NBA teams have to bring it, we want Chris Paul to have to play 30 minutes."
The 36ers take on Phoenix Suns on October 3 at 12.30pm ACST and Oklahoma City Thunder on October 7 at 11.30am ACST.
