Drmic leads Wizards to semi-finals

Anthony Drmic has propelled Northside Wizards one step closer to NBL1 North championship glory after an amazing quarter final performance on Saturday night.
Drmic scored a game-high 42 points, including the match sealing slam dunk, as the Wizards eliminated Mackay Meteors 98-96 in overtime.
The off-season recruit swished nine three-pointers and hauled down 11 rebounds, while teammate and Adelaide 36ers captain Mitch McCarron added 13 points and seven rebounds. Kyrin Galloway had 20 points, six rebounds and five blocks for Mackay.
Northside now play Gold Coast Rollers in this week's semi-final.

Daniel Johnson scored 19 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished six assists in Forestville Eagles’ 105-90 loss to South Adelaide Panthers in the NBL1 Central qualifying final.
The Eagles now play Norwood Flames in an elimination semi-final at Wayville on Saturday night.
Nick Marshall continued his great season at Mount Gambier as the Pioneers split their double header on the weekend.
Marshall was on triple double alert as the Pioneers thumped Ballarat Miners 102-70 on Friday night, scoring 20 points, grabbing nine rebounds and dishing eight assists.

The 198cm swingman had 15 points and 13 rebounds in the Pioneers’ 93-86 loss to Waverley Falcons on Sunday.
Mount Gambier finished the regular season in second place and will now play Kilsyth Cobras on Friday night in a qualifying final.
New signing Deng Acuoth pulled in 17 rebounds, blocked five shots and scored five points as Knox Raiders defeated Ringwood Hawks 86-84 in overtime.
The Raiders now face Bendigo Braves in an elimination final on Saturday night.
