Adelaide 36ers are excited to announce the signing of import power forward Jarell Martin for the NBL25 season.
Martin comes to Adelaide after spending the past two seasons playing in Europe, most recently playing for Galatasaray in Turkey.
The 208cm power forward has NBL championship experience, playing a huge part in the Sydney Kings title-winning run in the NBL22 season.
Adelaide 36ers head coach Scott Ninnis said Martin is exactly what was required to complete his NBL25 roster.
“Jarell is the perfect fit for us, he can play at the four (power forward) and also at the five (centre),” Ninnis said.
“He knows the league and he is a proven winner and it’s exciting to see what he can bring to this roster moving forward.”

The 30-year-old has spent two seasons in NBL at Sydney Kings in NBL21 and NBL22 and will now be reunited with former championship teammate DJ Vasiljevic.
“To have Jarell come back to the league and to have that connection with DJ already, it’s a big bonus for us,” Ninnis said.
GM of Basketball Matt Weston says the signing of Martin completes the NBL25 roster build.
“We are thrilled with what we have put together and we are excited about what this team can do,” Weston said.
“Jarell brings NBA quality to this roster and championship experience which is invaluable.
“We have got two marquee players in Isaac (Humphries) and DJ (Vasiljevic) and we have complimented them with two high quality imports.
“Under Scott’s leadership and the coaching group we have put together, we can’t wait to see the roster thrive in NBL25.”
Across 59 NBL matches, Martin has averaged 16.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game, including a career-high 29 points against New Zealand in May 2021 and a NBL best 17 rebounds in the deciding game three of the NBL22 grand final series.
The former first round NBA Draft pick in 2015, who played 192 NBA games for Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic, is expected to arrive in Adelaide this month.
