This creates a unique platform for genuine social impact and community engagement. To take this commitment to the community, the Adelaide 36ers have established a Not-for-Profit business, the Shooting Hoops Foundation, with a mission to influence positive community outcomes. Through basketball, the Adelaide 36ers provide a unique engagement vehicle that will inspire and equip young people with important life skills to thrive in their life.

Health and Wellbeing

We understand that health and wellbeing is crucial for leading a fulfilling and meaningful life encompassing physical, mental, and social aspects which contribute to wellbeing. Our programs focus on maintaining good physical health through exercise, nutrition, and sleep, and prioritising mental health through wellbeing initiatives and fostering positive social connections.

Leadership and Resilience

Our Leadership and Resilience programs provide a unique combination of the ability to influence and inspire others toward a common goal or vision, whilst also having the ability to bounce back from setbacks and adapt to change. Leadership and resilience are essential qualities for success, guiding and inspiring others, making tough decisions, and fostering collaboration. Developing these qualities is crucial for achieving goals and overcoming challenges in our lives.

Development & High Performance Pathways

Through our Development and High-Performance pathways, we identify, nurture, and develop basketball players, with the goal of helping them reach their full potential and achieve success at the highest level of the sport. These programs are designed to provide players with the necessary training, coaching, and competitive opportunities to enhance their skills and abilities.

Culture and Social Inclusion

Our programs ensure that all individuals, regardless of their backgrounds, have equal access to opportunities and can participate. We aim to influence a fair and just society. We encourage social inclusion, to create an environment where every individual can actively contribute and reach their full potential. Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
