The Adelaide 36ers have finalised their coaching panel for NBL27, with Jakob Dorricott promoted to the role of assistant coach.
Dorricott enters his third season with the club after being elevated from his previous position as development coach.
The promotion follows an outstanding year for Dorricott, who was recently named the NBL1 Central Coach of the Year after leading the Sturt Sabres back to the finals, following the club's absence from the postseason in 2025.

The 36ers have also farewelled assistant coach Luke Cann and development coach Igor Cvjetkovic, who has departed to pursue an opportunity overseas.
Adelaide 36ers General Manager of Basketball Operations Matt Weston thanked Cann and Cvjetkovic for their contributions to the club and said Dorricott had earned his promotion.
"Jakob is a talented young coach who has built an impressive coaching résumé through his drive, work ethic and commitment to continual improvement," Weston said.
"He has an excellent understanding of the game and brings a strong approach to player development and preparation, and we're excited to elevate him into the role of assistant coach.
"Luke and Igor have each made a significant contribution to our program and we wish them both every success in the next chapter of their careers.
"While we've seen some change within our coaching group, we're pleased to maintain strong continuity across the program as we look to build on the progress and success of last season."
Dorricott joins senior assistant coach Marko Marinovic and assistant coach Kerry Williams on Head Coach Trevor Gleeson's coaching staff for NBL27.

Marinovic joined the 36ers ahead of NBL25, bringing an extensive playing and coaching CV from Europe. His experience includes serving as an assistant coach with the Serbian national team that claimed the bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, as well as being head coach of Serbia's Under-20 national team.

Williams arrived at the 36ers ahead of NBL26 after spending four seasons as an assistant coach with the Cairns Taipans. As well as 105 NBL games as a player with the Taipans, Williams has also been part of the Australian Boomers coaching staff in recent years, including during the FIBA Asia Cup qualifying campaign in Perth this month.
