Kyrin Galloway finished with 28 points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks for the Mackay Meteors, who proved too good on the road against Townsville Heat on Saturday.
Galloway led Mackay to a 25 point victory and will next face Cairns Marlins Friday night at Early Settler Stadium.
The Pioneers went down 89-86 to North West Tasmania Thunder on Saturday night at the Ice House.
Adelaide 36ers Development Player Nick Marshall finished with 11 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
The Pioneers will hit the road and face the Supercats at Geelong Arena on Sunday.
The Northside Wizards missed 36ers and Boomers captain Mitch McCarron, who led the Boomers to FIBA Asia Cup glory in Jakarta on Sunday.
The Wizards went down 90-92 to Cairns Marlins on Saturday and will next face Logan Thunder at Bendigo Bank Cornubia Park Sports Centre on Friday night.
In the absence of Daniel Johnson, who is preparing for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, Forestville Eagles dominated in a 89-66 win over North Adelaide at Wayville Sports Centre on Saturday.
The Eagles face Norwood Flames this Saturday night at the Arc Campbelltown.
