Balfours baking with the Adelaide 36ers

The Adelaide 36ers have partnered with Australia’s oldest and most beloved bakery, with Balfours signing on as a club partner.
The two-year agreement will see the iconic Balfours brand featured on the back of the club’s gameday media polo during the Hungry Jack’s NBL27 and NBL28 seasons.
Adelaide 36ers members and supporters will get the chance to enjoy some of Balfours’ much-loved products, with giveaways following the club’s first home game of the season against the Cairns Taipans on Sunday, September 27.
Balfours will also provide free product sampling at selected Adelaide 36ers home games at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre throughout the season, while its products will be served across the club’s corporate hospitality suites on gamedays.
The partnership will see the introduction of a new Balfours Fan Tunnel experience, giving supporters the opportunity to get closer to the action as they welcome Adelaide 36ers players onto the court before home games.

Founded in 1853, Balfours is one of South Australia’s most recognised and enduring food brands. The iconic bakery was recently returned to South Australian ownership when local family-owned food manufacturer Unique Homestyle Foods acquired the brand.
Adelaide 36ers CEO Nic Barbato says the club is thrilled to welcome Balfours into the 36ers family.
“We’re incredibly proud to welcome Balfours on board as an Adelaide 36ers partner,” said Mr Barbato.
“There’s something really special about bringing two iconic South Australian brands together, particularly when both have such strong connections with our local community.
“Balfours has been part of South Australian life for generations and is a brand that so many of our members and supporters have grown up with.
“We’re excited to bring Balfours products into our gameday experience and give our fans the opportunity to enjoy some delicious goods over the next two seasons.”
Balfours and Unique Homestyle Foods Owner Matt Brown said Balfours had long supported the South Australian community, and his own family had a connection to the 36ers.
“We’re so proud to have Balfours back in South Australia, where it belongs,” he said.
“So many South Aussies have memories of Balfours and we’re excited to connect back with the community.
"It’s important for us to continue Balfours’ legacy supporting the South Australian community, whether that’s grassroots sport, right up to the big leagues.
“Personally, our family are mad supporters of the team and attend every home game, and my first job was actually part of the catering team, servicing the original ‘Clipsal Powerhouse’, in the era of Mark Davis, Al Green and Phil Smyth.
“Our connection goes back decades and now we have the opportunity to give back to a sport that’s given so much to us, and all the fans."
The Adelaide 36ers will play their first home game of the season this Sunday.
