Hello 36ers Family,
Even though it was an inconsistent season on the court in NBL23, this past season has seen the club make some major improvements.
We would like to thank our members, fans and supporters for making the Adelaide Entertainment Centre the hottest ticket in town throughout the summer.
The club sold out six home games during NBL23, which included the final five games on Brett Maher Court, which is an amazing show of support from our loyal fan base.
Our win against Phoenix Suns during our NBL x NBA pre-season tour of the US was an obvious highlight, but the results throughout the NBL23 campaign has sparked a renewed focus on the court for NBL24 and beyond.
We are more determined than ever to be successful on the court and we have the belief we are not too far away to obtaining this objective.
There will be some changes made during this off-season period, which started this week with the re-signing of Nick Marshall for another three seasons.
Marshall, 23, won the Most Improved Player award at the club in NBL23 and also made his International debut with the Australian Boomers during the recent FIBA World Cup Qualifying window in Melbourne.
A big congratulations to Antonius Cleveland, who scooped the our NBL23 awards at the recent Hall of Fame and MVP dinner held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
Cleveland won the Mark Davis Trophy as our MVP, took home the Members’ Choice MVP and the Best Defensive Player award.
Anthony Drmic won the Coaches Trophy, and our team manager Jared ‘Jazzy’ Campbell was honoured with the Chairman’s Award.
The NBL24 season will be here before you know it, and given the sell-out crowds the only way to guarantee your seat is to register for a membership here.
We will make further roster and club announcements next week.
Go Sixers!
