Dech, Acuoth fire for South Sudan

A team-high 18 points from Adelaide 36ers shooting guard Sunday Dech has led South Sudan to qualification for the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
South Sudan defeated Egypt 85-65 on Monday to book their place at next year's event in the Philippines.
As well as his 18 points, Dech had five assists as South Sudan jumped out to an early double-digit lead and were never headed.

Deng Acuoth was a spark off the bench, grabbing five rebounds to go with four points.
The win was South Sudan's eighth of the campaign, and the side bouncing back from a first up 69-66 loss to Senegal with Monday's win over Egypt as well as Saturday's 101-58 rout of Congo.
