School Holiday Clinic: Week One Wrap

A sold-out 120 kids enjoyed the HomeStart Finance Adelaide 36ers July School Holidays Clinic at St Clair this week.

The three-day clinic, run by 36ers Hall of Fame inductees Brett Maher and Scott Ninnis, provided the kids with new and improved skills, fun and games and lots of entertainment.

Maher said the clinics focus on the fundamentals and putting fun into basketball.

“A lot of our camps we focus on skills in the morning and put them into game situations in the afternoon,” Maher said.

“We have had a really good roll out with the kids, they have heaps of fun.”

HomeStart Finance CEO Andrew Mills is really proud to support the 36ers with the School Holiday clinics.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring the kids together and spend some time with some 36ers all-stars,” Mills said.

Ninnis said this three-day clinic was one of the best he has run with Maher.

“It’s been fantastic, a lot of kids willing to learn, and to learn from someone like Brett Maher is pretty awesome,” Ninnis said.

Murray Magpie made some guest appearances throughout the week.

“The highlight for me was Murray Magpie coming along, the kids love Murray,” Maher said.

The Adelaide 36ers School Holiday Clinics supported by HomeStart Finance continue next week at the Adelaide 36ers Arena starting on Monday.
