We recently looked at the Adelaide 36ers on track to reach games milestones in NBL26 so today we thought we’d see who might hit some key scoring totals this season.
Among them are a star recruit moving rapidly up the all-time scorers list and two Aussie guns who definitely know where the basket is.
Check out our list below:
Bryce Cotton
6000 career NBL points
Bryce Cotton might not have pulled on a 36ers jersey yet, but supporters are eagerly anticipating him sinking threes at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in NBL26 and beyond.
With 5959 NBL points to his name currently at an average of 23.1 points per game, Cotton could get to 6000 with one big game (or two going by his average across his 258 games).
So far only 30 players have hit 6000 points in NBL history. Cotton needs 196 points to move ahead of Mat Campbell into the top 30 for points scored in the NBL.

DJ Vasiljevic
2500 NBL points / 1000 club points
DJ Vasiljevic knows where the basket is, as evidenced by him fast approaching 2500 total points in the NBL. He played three seasons with the Sydney Kings as well as two so far with the 36ers for a total of 2105 points in his 137 NBL games.
The 36ers captain is also getting close to 1000 points in a 36ers jersey. With 916 points so far in his 49 games for the club, he is averaging 18.7 points per game. That would mean it’d take him just over four games to get to 1000 club points.
Vasiljevic is slowly moving up the club’s list of top scorers too. He needs 20 points to overtake Brendan Teys in 42nd spot overall, though Teys played 226 games for his total of 935 points. In fact, should Vasiljevic maintain his 458-point season average during his time in Adelaide, he would have 1374 points in club colours to rank 24th overall in the all-time 36ers scoring rankings, just behind Darren Ng who finished with 1456 points in 192 games.

Isaac Humphries
1500 NBL points
Isaac Humpries has 1481 total points in his 132 career NBL games, just shy of the 1500-point milestone.
While he brought up his 1000th point for the Adelaide 36ers last season (he has 1081 points in club colours in his 83 games), he is on track to break into the top 25 of all-time scorers for the 36ers.
While his interrupted 25-game first stint at the club between 2020 and 2022 brings his scoring average down, if you take into account his last two seasons, Humphries averages 391 points per season. Should he score that number again in NBL26, he would finish the year with 1472 points, which would shift him above Darren Ng (1456 in 192 games) into 23rd place on the scorers list, and just behind Nathan Sobey (1482 in 121 games).
Humphries is also approaching 200 blocks. He is currently on 198 for his NBL career. Only 52 others have hit 200 blocks in NBL history.

Montrezl Harrell
1000 NBL points
Montrezl Harrell fast became a fan favourite in NBL25 for his on and off-court style, yet he was also an effective scorer.
He averaged 20.5 points per game in his 28 games last season to take his overall tally to 574 points.
If he went at his average scoring rate in NBL26, it would take him 21 games to reach 1000-point milestone.
It would take him into rare air with only 41 players in 36ers history having scored 1000 points for the club.
