Adelaide 36ers head coach Mike Wells said he expects his side to bounce back in Sunday’s home game against Illawarra Hawks at the Entertainment Centre.
After last week’s loss to New Zealand Breakers in Auckland, Wells said the 36ers have spent the week making some adjustments at both ends of the floor.
“We will get better, we will move on and teach and get ready for next week,” Wells said.
“We have time to regenerate the group and see we can come out with the appropriate energy to defend our home court.”

Adelaide has given four sellout home crowd four big wins so far in NBL25 and Wells said the team can’t wait to get back in front of the loyal fans on Sunday.
“I know our crowd in Adelaide has been fantastic in supporting us,” Wells said.
“They have been loud, you can feel their energy.”
Illawarra will be looking to rebound after their loss last round to the Wildcats in Perth, but Adelaide has already defeated the Hawks this season, a 102-100 success in Wollongong.
“They are a tremendous team, we have played them once this year, I give coach (Justin) Tatum and their guys a ton of credit,” Wells said.
“We will correct and teach and get better.”
Adelaide will be looking to rebound next Sunday afternoon when the 36ers host Illawarra Hawks at the Entertainment Centre from 4pm ACDT.
